This kitchen was dark and dated. We removed the wood paneling on the vaulted ceiling and the wall separating the sunroom to enlarge and brighten the kitchen. We designed and installed new custom birch cabinets that include shaker doors, premium soft-close hardware, and roll-out pantry shelves. Quartz counter tops are on the perimeter cabinets while a stunning granite island countertop and raised breakfast bar provides addition room to cook and seating for 8 or more! Under-cabinet lighting illuminates a classy, neutral backsplash. All the extra lighting really makes the room bright, easy to cook in and welcoming!

Chanhassen Basement
This family's unfinished basement was a great opportunity to add living space, but there were several challenges to making it feel well-designed. Multiple beams, ducts and pipes that couldn't be moved needed to be dealt with while also creating some division without blocking natural light. We built the family room to include a tray ceiling that's lighted to add elegance. There is a custom wet bar with granite counter top, stylish shelving and a wine rack, and built-ins for television components and room for a 65" television! The guest bedroom doubles as a workout room and the 3/4 bathroom has a modern tiled shower and floor. With over 1400 square feet of new living space, this family has plenty of room to entertain and enjoy themselves.
Chaska Basement Remodel
An unfinished basement was the perfect opportunity to add living space to this Chaska home. We built a new comfortable family room with a gas fireplace, a wet bar with granite counters and custom gray shaker cabinets, and built-in bookshelves for extra storage on each side of the fireplace with a custom mantel and mosaic tile. We removed a wall and added an oak and iron railing to match the main-level railings and open the stairway. The guest bedroom has ample closet space and feels bright and welcoming with its large egress window. The guest bathroom has a custom tiled shower with a niche and semi-custom glass enclosure, and a luxurious heated tile floor. The family has had many guest and gatherings since we completed the project and everyone has loved the new space!

Deck Renovation
This deck was built by the original owners of the home, and while they put in a valiant effort several things were done poorly. The first-generation composite decking and railings were bleached and badly stained and their structural integrity was failing. We removed everything down to the framing, which largely was still intact. We replaced the stairs and made other needed repairs, added blocking to stiffen everything, and installed new premium PVC-encapsulated Trex Transcend decking using concealed fasteners. We also installed powder-coated aluminum railing which will keep everyone safe and adds an elegant finishing touch.
Exterior Renovation
Once the model home for the neighborhood, this house needed some serious TLC on the outside. The owners wanted to update the exterior and add more character without doing a complete make-over. We added trim boards in strategic locations, replaced the damaged and rotten boards, and replaced their decking and railing (not pictured). The exterior was repainted with a new color scheme and it's back to being eye-catching and gorgeous!
